Emotions, Logics & User Experience

Nowadays we are riding on a technology horse and his speed is increasing day by day. Every human being is connected to technology directly or indirectly. From our wrist watch to advance AI robots, everything is programed and working on logics. People talking about augmented intelligence, augmented reality and many more.

Actually reality is different “every human being can live without technology but without emotions there will be only robots.”

I have an example, Few years ago I heard a story from someone
“A boy stolen a motor bike but he captured by police and they took him to police station and someone informed boy’s family about it. His Mother came to police station and she said kindly release my son and she was crying. Although she knew that her son is guilty.”

I know this is very strange example but I learn many things from this event. As a user experience designer I notice that mother knew that her son is thief and all proofs was there but yet she was crying and request for his release. Why?

“Whatever the logics are and whatever they can prove, human emotions are always superior”

“So as a ux designer or researcher we are lawyers or ambassadors of human emotions in technology world.“

Stakeholders and business will always think about profit and loss but we can play very important role, We can make a very positive and strong bridge between technology world and emotional world.
